Please be informed that the IBP Board of Governors, at its
meeting held on February 6, 2008 in Ormoc City, approved and adopted
the following resolution:
RESOLVED, that a Women and Children’s Desk be created in every IBP
Chapter, the said facility to be under the charge of the Chapter
Committee on Legal Aid; RESOLVED Further that a memorandum addressed
to all Chapter Presidents be sent for the information and compliance
of all concerned.
Pursuant thereto, the undersigned hereby urges all chapter
Presidents to immediately establish the said facility in your chapters.
An advise on its creation will be highly appreciated.

good day po. magtatanong lang po sana ako, kasal po kasi ako. After 1 yr. and a half nakipaghiwalay po ako sa asawa ko. Kasi po kapag nakaka-inom sya, sinasaktan nya po ako. 2 bes din po nya ako tinutukan ng baril. May incident pa po na, nang minsan inawat ko sya, dahil sa may dala syang baril, natabig nya po ang anak ko at nahulog sa sahig. Dahil po sa insidenteng un, napagdesisyonan ko pong tuluyan na syang hiwalayan. Ngayon po patuloy nya po akong ginugulo at pinagbabantaan. Nais ko po sanang mapawalang bisa ang kasal ko sa kanya, kaso po wala naman po ako sapat na pera para tustusan ung gastos para sa annulment. Hirap na hirap na po ako. Halos hindi na nga po ako makalabas nh bahay dahil natatakot ako sa pwede nyang gawin sa akin. Sana po matulungan nyo po ako. Salamat po.

Kapag ginugulo kayo ng inyong asawa ay dapat ninyo ireklamo siya sa pinakamalapit na Police Station or kaya sa Punong Barangay ng inyong lugar na tinitirahan.
