March 27, 2008 Bench & Bar Introduction

To our distinguished panel who will be formally introduced. To all the judges, prosecutors, Public Attorneys, Clerks of Courts, our Officers and Guests.

Cavite IBP is embarking on this task called “Bench and Bar Dialogue” in response to the clamor of all sectors of the lawyering profession to host a venue for this kind of gathering, which is the first in Cavite.

Mostly we see each other in courts, giving a handshake or a nod but behind our mind is a search for the upliftment of our profession. This is that one venue for upliftment.

Atty. Rose, our able Vice President has passed several questionnaires and solicited various topics. She was able to gather at least 14 topics but the board has trimmed them down to three considering the time constraints we are in.

The invited speakers shall be steering the topics from which we will have a forum and the dialogue.

After the speakers have steered we will be handled by the moderators so that we will not be wandering around the topics.

In propounding you queries, please identify yourself and go to the microphone.

There are snack stubs issue to you and you can use them anytime you want to secure your merienda. Food can be secured at Café Esperanza.

3 MCLE units is provided today for free.

We would also like to announce that after this project, we will immediately start with the project we called “Task Force Titulo”. This will focus on our ongoing problem with the Register of Deeds and the DENR.

As always, please, please, please, turn off your cellphone or put them in silent mode.

AGAIN WELCOME AND I HOPE OUR ENDEAVOR TODAY SHALL BE MEANINGFUL AND FRUITFUL ONE.
